Indoor Games

For those students who are not too enthusiastic about outdoor-sports the school provides for indoor games viz. Billiards, Table-tennis, Chess and Caroms. Various age-level and house tournaments are held throughout the year where the student's are provided with the opportunity to display their flair and skills in these games. The outstanding and successful ones are rewarded as a form of appreciation and encouragement.

Inter House Competitions

On every fortnight, Inter House Competitions of various activities like English & Hindi Songs, Skits, Debates, Speeches, English Creative Writing, Senior & Junior Quiz, English & Hindi Elocution etc. are held. House in-charges and Post Holders prepare the students well in advance and ensure that the maximum number of students are given an opportunity to compete. Maintaining a healthy sense of competition, House Captains & House In-charges take these competitions very seriously. On the evening of the Annual Cultural Programme a Trophy is awarded to the Winning House by the Chief Guest. Later the members of the Winning House enjoy a treat given by the school authorities.

Cultural Programme

This extravaganza which is the highlight of the APS cultural activities calendar exhibit the phenomenal talents possessed by our students. The staff and students labor for days on end in preparing for this galactic event.
The fruit of their labor is evident as the final presentations are loudly applauded and appreciated by animated audiences after the completion of each event.
The skills on display at this event include dramatics, dance (Indian and Western), oratory, singing and playing of musical instruments.
